Day by Day Itinerary:
Day 1:
ROUTING: KIEV
- Upon arrival to Kiev transfer to hotel Rus
- Check-in at the hotel.
- City tour "Kyiv â“ 15 hundred year old city is the capital of Ukraine". Kyiv is one of the most beautiful cities of Europe, stretching along picturesque banks of the Dnipro â“ River. Founded in 5th c. Its rich history is embodied in its ancient architectural monuments. Nowadays Kyiv is a political, cultural, spiritual center with its unique urban architecture and magnificent monuments.
- 19.00-21.00 Welcome dinner at Ukrainian National Restaurant.
- Tasting Ukrainian cuisine with folklore show.
- Overnight in Kiev


Day 2:
ROUTING: KIEV
- Breakfast
- 10.00-14.00 Jewish tour of Kyiv. Visits to: Brodsky synagogue built in 1897-98 by famous Kyiv sugar magnate Lazarus Brodsky. Monument to Shalom Aleichem â“ world know Yiddish writer, the author of "Fiddler on the roof" novel. House of Golda Meir â“ first Prime Minister of the State of Israel. Podil area â“ one three quarters of Kiev where Jews were allowed to settled, that still possesses Jewish character. Podil synagogue built in 1894-95 by Gabriel Rosenberg.
- Free time in the city centre.
- 19.00-21.00 Dinner in the Kosher Restaurant King David.
- Overnight in Kiev


Day 3:
ROUTING: KIEV
- Breakfast
- 10.00-13.00 Tour to Babiy Yar - site of greatest mass killings of Jews of Kyiv during WWII. Sights to visit: Menorah Memorial in Babiy Yar put by Ukrainian and Israeli governments in 1991. Memorial in Babyn Yar - Big bronze monument in Babyn Yar was set up in 1976 in the place of killing of more than 120 thousand Soviet people in 1941-1943. First victims of massacre were Kyiv Jews mainly women, old people and children.
- Also Soviet Army soldiers, officers, Soviet Resistence members, Kyiv citizens, Gipsies, Dnipro river flotillia sailors, Kyiv Dinamo football team players were killed here by Nazi Germans.
- 14.00 Back to the hotel. Free time.
- 19.00 Dinner in the hotel.

Day 4:
ROUTING: KIEV - UMAN - KIEV
- Breakfast
- 8.00-17.00 Day trip to Uman - the Chassidism capital. Uman is annually visited by numerous groups of pilgrims from more than twenty countries of the world. Come to pay homage to the tomb of Rebe Nachman of Bratslav & Gadyach, the tomb of Rabbi Shneur Zalman and the Alter Rebe, the founder of the Lubavitch Chassidic movement.
- 15.00-16.30 Lunch in the local restaurant.
- 17.00 Departure to Kiev.
- 20.30 Dinner in the hotel.

Day 5:
ROUTING: KIEV - BERDICHEV- CHERNIVTSI
- Breakfast
8.30 Departure to Chernivtsi (visit to the town of Berdichev).
11:30 Arrive in Berdichev. A town of Berdichev epitomizes a typical Jewish community of Russian Empire. Located in 115 miles southwest of Kyiv, Berdichev was known as the âœJerusalem of Volhynia provinceâ�. This town was the home of noted scholars and rabbis, including Rabbi Levi Isaac Ben Berdichev. Berdichev once had 80 synagogues and houses of prayer and study. It was one of the largest centers of the Bund; was the birthplace of the great Russian Jewish writer Vasiliy Grossman and was commented upon and written about by other great Jewish writers â“ Mendele Mokher Seforim, Shalom Aleichem and Der Nister. Berdichev ranked as the second-largest Jewish community in Russia in 1861. Nearly one-half of the city was Jewish. At the beginning of the WWI there were more than thirty thousand Jews in Berdichev. Today, there are about fife hundred Jews. Tour of the town including visits to: Old Berdichev synagogue built at the end of 19th century, Chabbad synagogue and yeshiva that operate now, Old Jewish cemetery; visit the grave of Rabbi Levi Isaac one of the founders of Chassidic movement.
- 13.30-14.30 Lunch in the local restaurant.
- 15:00 Depart Berdichev for Chernivtsi
- 21.00 Arrival to Chernivtsi. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner.
- Overnight in Chernivtsi


Day 6:
ROUTING: CHERNIVTSI
- Breakfast
- 11.00- 13.00 City tour of Chernivtsi. Visits to the Jewish sector of the city (former ghetto), Paul Tselan and Joseph Schmidt memorial places, Jewish cultural society, synagogue.13:30-14:30 Lunch in the city.
- 14:30-16:00 Continuation of the guided Chernivtsi tour. Visit to the University, the former residence of the Metropolitan (1864-1882)
- 16:00-19:00 Free time for shopping and meetings with friends and/or members of the Jewish community (optional).
- 19.00 Dinner in the hotel.
- Overnight in Chernivtsi


Day 7:
ROUTING: CHERNIVTSI - LVIV
- Breakfast
- 8.00 Departure to Lviv.
- 13.00 Arrival to Lviv. Chek-in to the hotel Dnister.
- 13.30-14.30 Lunch in the hotel.
- 15.00-18.00 Sightseeing tour of the city which was established at the crossroads of ancient trade routes from the frontiers of ancient cultures. Its unique architectural monuments, the cosy and somewhat mystic medieval atmosphere and the traditions and charm have been remarkably preserved through the ages. Visit to the largely baroque St.George Cathedral, ancient Lviv Universities, ample central avenues, beautiful theatres, monuments and parks. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the city from the High Castle Hill. Visit to the Hasidic Synagogue.
- 19.00-21.00 Welcome dinner in one of of Lviv's great restaurants.
- Overnight in Lviv


Day 8:
ROUTING: LVIV
- Breakfast
- 10.00-13.00 Walking tour of medieval Lviv and the Jewish quarter, ruins of the Main Synagogue and â˜Golden Rose' Synagogue, dem Parnas House.
- Free time in the city centre.
- 19.00 Dinner in the hotel.
- Overnight in Lviv


Day 9:
ROUTING: LVIV - KRAKOW
- Breakfast
- 10.00- 16.00 Guided tour to the Jewish quarter (Krakow suburb).
- Visits to: Hasidic school, Hasidic Synagogue, the Jewish religious community residence, former hospital founded by doctor Rappaport, Yad Harusym building (1895), house of Sholom Aleichem, monument to the victims of the Jewish ghetto.
- Meeting in the Jewish society named after Sholom Aleichem. Yaniv Jewish cemetery. Memorial on the spot of the former Yaniv concentration camp.
- 16.00-19.00 Free time in the city centre.
- 19.00 Dinner in the hotel.
- Overnight in Lviv


Day 10:
ROUTING: KRAKOW
